Jointing.Media（JM）, an independent online news organization, aims to connect the citizens worldwide via joint effects between media organizations, business communities and non-profit organizations. Providing extensive news, comment and analysis, Jointing.Media pursues quality, accuracy and integrity, and promotes Chinese citizens to take an active part in social work, to accomplish the forming of a Global Civil Society.
JM was jointly initiated by several friends who had worked in the media at the end of November 2009. It is a purely non-profit and loose organization. We want to record stories about China’s public affairs in corporate sustainable development, social enterprise, and low carbon and environmental protection.
“Joint” emphasizes that what we do is just like a joint in the entire society. “ing” reminds us to keep moving on.
