If you ask me to predict the future of the world and humanity, my answer would be bleak.\u00a0 The world is deteriorating at an alarming rate.\u00a0 Human greed, selfishness, and other destructive traits are relentlessly eroding our planet.<\/p>\n

Even though a minority strives to protect the environment and raise awareness against excessive exploitation and irrational resource utilization, their efforts seem futile. Humanity appears destined for self-destruction. Yet, within our brief existence as humans, there may still be meaning to be found in doing what we believe is right.<\/p>\n

In 2009, we established Jointing.Bank (abbreviated as\u00a0\u201cJ.Bank\u201d)<\/span>, a virtual community dedicated to promoting\u00a0lifelong learning. This invitation-only platform brings together\u00a0passionate professionals who voluntarily contribute their expertise and resources to support nonprofit initiatives and nurture emerging enterprises during their discretionary time.<\/p>\n

Operating as an innovation laboratory, the community champions experiential learning (\u201clearning by doing\u201d), empowering members to synergize diverse skill sets and pool collective resources to turn innovative ideas into reality. Launched in Fall 2009 as J.Bank’s inaugural initiative,\u00a0Jointing.Media (“JM”)<\/span> was specifically created to document the inspiring stories of grassroots NGO workers while effectively mobilizing resources to support their nonprofit missions.<\/p>\n

J.Bank operates on a distinctive model<\/a>. First, a sponsor can be involved in two or more non-profit projects via sponsoring the original articles of JM. JM irregularly donates to other non-profit projects. There are three pools \u2014 a news pool, a donation pool and a projects pool. They are not in any particular order.<\/p>\n

Secondly, process-Oriented Project Development.\u00a0 We intentionally eschew rigid deadlines and completion requirements for J.Bank initiatives.\u00a0 \u00a0This philosophy stems from our belief that authentic social impact and personal enlightenment emerge through continuous experimentation.\u00a0 \u00a0The journey of discovering both personal purpose and societal needs is valued above pre-defined outcomes.\u00a0 \u00a0It is not about others but yourself\u2014 how to enlighten yourself.\u00a0 Most of all, Keep evolving through action.<\/p>\n

Finally, we emphasize learning by doing.\u00a0 \u00a0If you have an idea, just do it.\u00a0 \u00a0We champion an “act first, refine later” approach.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Members are encouraged to:<\/div>\n
